Services
 Welcome.

          St. James is an Episcopal congregation established in 1881.  

We are located directly in the town of Louisa, just past the railroad tracks.

We are a small congregation with big hearts and community focus.

Lent 2026

The Way of Love Curriculum
 Life Transformed: The Way of Love in Lent ​

We will meet for four weeks on Wednesdays.
 All are welcome and encouraged to attend.  Bring your Prayer Book and your Bible. 

1-2:30 p.m. in our parish hall. 

Wednesday March 4, 2026 -  in this session we will learn about Turning & Praying  TURN: Dead to Sin, Alive in Christ (Romans 6:3-11)
Participants consider spiritual practices of turning away from the spiritual forces of evil and sin, and turn toward Christ.
 PRAY: Israel’s Deliverance at the Red Sea (Exodus 14:10-15:1)  We will explore different ways of praying.
