How We Serve in Worship
Acolytes & Lay Eucharistic Ministers
Acolytes and Lay Eucharistic Ministers assist the priest during worship by lighting candles, carrying the cross, administering the chalice during the communion, and more.
Lectors
Lectors read the Bible lessons apportioned for our worship on Sunday. For resources on each week's readings visit The Lectionary Page.
Children's HomilistsDuring the 10:00 a.m. service, children's homilists extend a special welcome to the youngest worshippers by offering them a short lesson drawn from the Bible readings for the day. These brief sermons are often appreciated just as much by the adults.

Altar Guild
Altar Guild volunteers set up the bread, wine, and linens for worship, clean up afterward, and bring linens home for laundering. This fun way to help behind the scenes is an immense help to the church.
Ushers
Ushers are often the first faces people see when they get to church. They welcome people to worship, distribute bulletins, help newcomers, and assist people to communion.
The ChoirAt the 10:00 a.m. service, our choir leads the congregation in worshiping God through music and song and offers a weekly anthem to God to inspire us and enhance our worship. Our talented choir and beautiful pipe organ make music one of the highlights of our worship together. The choir meets weekly for practice, and new choir members are always welcome.
