Our Values

Faith and Love
  • "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.  The second is this, You shall love your neighbor as yourself." - Mark 12:30-31a
  • "For truly I tell you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, … nothing will be impossible for you." - Matthew 17:20

Prayer and Worship
  • "My house shall be called a house of prayer." - Matthew 21:13 & Mark 11:17
  • “… one of his disciples said to him, ‘Lord, teach us to pray’….” - Luke 11:1
  • "Oh come, let us sing to the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation!  Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise!  For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods.  In his hand are the depths of the earth; the heights of the mountains are his also.  The sea is his, for he made it, and his hands formed the dry land."  - Psalm 95:1-6

Humility and Study
  • “The greatest among you will be your servant.  All who exalt themselves will be humbled, and all who humble themselves will be exalted.” - Matthew 23:11-12
  • “Now when Jesus had finished instructing his twelve disciples, he went on from there to teach and proclaim his message in their cities.” - Matthew 11:1
  • “But you are not to be called rabbi, for you have one teacher, and you are all students.” - Matthew 23:8

Generosity and Hospitality
  • “If anyone wants … your coat, give your cloak as well.” - Matthew 5:4
  • "Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares." - Hebrews 13:2
